Laurie Wallington is the founder of Orchids & Moonlight Holistic. Laurie is a lifelong resident of Chetwynd BC; it’s been her home since she was born and will continue to be her home for many more years. She’s been self employed since 2007 when she opened a workwear store but unfortunately, in 2008, she was forced to close her doors. It was then that she decided to go back to school, get her esthetician certification and open a holistic spa which she named Laurie’s Esthetics. She’s been in the beauty industry ever since. In 2017, Laurie decided that she wanted to expand her business to incorporate her other interests as well, crystals! That was only the start, she’s since expanded into natural bath and body products,  metaphysical books, tarot and oracle cards, loose leaf teas, and so much more. With the expansion, she realized that it was time to rebrand! After much thought, she decided on Orchids & Moonlight Holistic, a name inspired by a quote by Melody Lee “Don’t compare her to sunshine & roses when she is clearly orchids and moonlight”.
